Farvesensorerne i SI-COLO serien arbejder efter 3-farve princippet, med en hvid-LED som lyskilde.
Farvesensorerne SI-COLO2 og SI-COLO3 (version med indbygget optik) ligesom SI-COLO2-LWL og SI-COLO3-LWL (fiberversion) kan parametreres under Windows (R) via RS 232 interface.
Op til 15 farver kan indlæres, dog 100 farver med SI-COLO84.
